Ceramic conservation & restoration
I offer a conservation and restoration service for all types of ceramic objects, ranging from the archaeological/museum objects to twentieth century collectibles, whether valuable in monetary terms, or simply sentimental and much loved by their owners. All are treated with the same care and sensitivity, using modern techniques and equipment in my studio based near my home in Bristol. I also teach ceramic restoration at various venues - Earnley Concourse near Chichester www.earnley.co.uk , the Wye Valley Arts Centre near Tintern www.wyearts.co.uk and Missenden Abbey in Bucks www.missendenabbey-al.co.uk/arca

Miniature painting
Commissions are undertaken for miniature paintings, usually using watercolour on ivorine (although I also enjoy using oils), and although I specialise in both animal and child portraiture, I particularly enjoy painting animals. All pictures are supplied suitably mounted and framed (based on over 20 years experience in running my own picture framing business) and are usually based on several photographs provided by the clients. I currently teach miniature painting workshops at Earnley Concourse near Chichester www.earnley.co.uk West Dean College near Chichester www.westdean.org.uk Missenden Abbey in Bucks www.missendenabbey-al.co.uk/arca and have now added Dillington House in Somerset to my venues www.dillington.com
Pencil Portraiture
I have recently started using coloured pencil techniques to paint animal portraits, these being slightly less time consuming and not constrained by the miniature size restrictions.
